To proceed with your permit application you will need to have either a credit card or PayPal account.  If you do not wish to purchase your permit by these methods please download the forms and send the application form and a cheque payable to ‘Devon and Severn IFCA’ to the office address.  

Please note that no refunds can be given under any circumstances once the permit has been purchased.

Commercial diving permit

A permit is required to dive commercially for lobster, crab, scallop from the shore or vessel

Please note that you must be the owner of a registered, licensed vessel to apply for this permit 

Commercial potting permit

A permit is required to use pots to commercially fish in the D&SIFCA District.

Please note that you must be the owner of a registered, licensed vessel to apply for this permit 

Mobile fishing (at sea) permit

A permit is required to use mobile gear (including trawls and dredges) to fish commercially in the District.

Please note that you must be the owner of a registered, licensed vessel to apply for this permit 

Recreational diving permit

A permit is required to recreationally dive for lobster, crab, scallop from the shore or vessel.

Please note that you do not need to be the owner of a vessel to recreational dive from the shore or from a boat.

Recreational potting permit

A permit is required to use pots to recreationally fish in the D&SIFCA District.

Please note that you do not need to be the owner of a vessel to recreationally pot from the shore or from a boat.

Mobile fishing (estuary) permit

A permit is required to use mobile gear (including trawls and dredges) to fish commercially in the designated areas of the Dart, Salcombe, and Exe Estuaries.
